Michael Hotka's
Req. #56 - Apollo 16 Observation

Observe on Lunar Day (after New Moon): 14

Lunar Day Seen: 14

Date/Time: 12/18/2021 20:43 Local Time

Location: 1425 Snowberry Lane, Broomfield, CO

Seeing: VG

Transparency: 5

Instrument Used: 8" f/6 Newtonian Telescope

Magnification: 203x

Estimated Lunar Epoch: N/A

Actual Lumar Epoch: Pre-Imbrian

Reasoning/Description: Lots of craters in area with rays splashing towards landing site. Tycho rays reach this area from above and a bit to left. Whole area very bright with possible ejecta. Can see why this site was chosen. Can see Theophilus and Kant. Apollo 16 is same distance beyond Kant as is the distance between Theophilus and Kant and on a bit of a slant upwards from the line between these two craters.
