Here are pictures of my trip to the 2008 Weekend Under the Stars. I was ready to head to Fox Park, Wyoming about noon on July 30, 2008. Here is my car loaded for 4 days and nights of observing.
When I arrived about 3 PM, there was only one other camper there. The field was pretty wide open.
I quickly chose a prime spot and setup my scope.
It was such a good spot that others followed...
Across the way to the south, it started to fill up...
And by Friday night, the star party was in full gear...
